Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) For realization of highly advanced next-generation network, this paper suggests novel network architecture that can decrease a network scale and can change topology at the IP level dynamically by adaptively leveraging the OXCs (Optical Cross-Connects) and making virtual node function composed of several distantly positioned OXCs. In our previous work, we locate Ameba Nodes by evolutionary computation based on GA (Genetic Algorithm). The previous method, however, has some problems on the optimality of solution and adaptivity to traffic fluctuation, because we simplify GA's calculation. To solve these problems, this paper proposes new algorithm based on GA to locate Ameba Nodes more flexibly and effectively. We also evaluate its effectiveness by computer simulation.
