Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Wireless Mesh Networks (WMNs) provide wide Wireless LAN (WLAN) area by connecting Access Points (APs) of WLANs each other using radio communications. Routing protocols assume a great role to keep communication quality over wireless multi-hop communications since the condition of radio waves are greatly affected by surrounding environments. We should consider network load when we use applications such as video conference and IP phone which tend to flow a large amount of traffics on networks. In this paper, we propose a multicast routing protocol which considers network load and evaluate performance by simulation. In the simulation results, we show that proposed protocol has better performance than conventional protocol.
