Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We focused on the pupil diameter variation as a possible index to predict position and size of visual attentional area. We hypothesized that the pupil diameter would change due to the stimulus property in the covertly attentional area even if not with the overt attention shifts. To verify it, this study measured the pupil size variation with the cuing task paradigm. The results suggest that the pupil diameter varies with the luminance of the stimulus in the covertly attentianl area.
