Accesibility of information terminal devices with touchscreen

Abstract(in English) Now, many people have a smartphone with touchscreen interface. However, since accessibility of smartphone OS using touchscreen interface is not enough yet, it's very difficult for visual impaired users to use. To solve this problem, there are already many researches, for example using haptic technology. However, to make solve this problem, we think it's very important to understand visual impairments who use smartphones with touchscreen more deeply (How they start to use, what makes them troublesome, and how they overcome), then show problems. In this paper, we try it. We had one visual impairment start to use iPhone with iOS5 and keep a diary for about 2 weeks, then we interviewed to him about hisexperiment. we reveal the problems deeply.
