Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A 3D registration method for moving objects taken by asynchronous multiple range cameras is proposed. If multiple range cameras are synchronized with each other, 3D registration of moving objects can be solved by performing multiple view camera calibration. In the asynchronous case, it is additionally necessary to compensate the time lag between the cameras. To do this, we convert the problem into 3D registration between two sets of spatial points captured from asynchronous two range cameras. In experiments with a ball in free fall and a walking person, we show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
