Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have considered the combined control protocol between transmit power control and carrier sense detection control. IEEE802.11, which is the standard of wireless LAN, constructs the channel sharing system of independent multiple wireless equipment due to carrier sense multiple access (CSMA) and Carrier Avoidance (CA) function. If the combined control protocol is applied to the wireless equipment, the additional margin for boosting transmitting power or the adjustable range of carrier sensing is obtained. As this result, the high throughput performance can be achieved. In this paper, the wireless simulator for the MAC protoclo of IEEE 802.11 standard is constructed. From the constructed simulator, the effect of our proposed combined protocol is clarified in terms of throughput performance.
