Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, the method for utilizing environmental sounds has been increasingly used for family to monitor the life condition of the elder. Environmental sounds consist of various sounds in daily life and can be divided into usual sound and unusual sound. Detecting unusual sound based on environmental sound discrimination makes it possible to detect abnormity of the elder. In the past, the method for utilizing acoustic model has been used for environmental sound discrimination. However, the number of unusual sound sample is small and construction of acoustic model is difficult in this method. And in this method, dry sources are used for learning of acoustic model. This method can not accurately discriminate reverbrent environmental sounds. Therefore we proposed multi-stage environmental sound discrimination with multi-reverbrent-condition model using simulated impulse response for improving identification accuracy of unusual sounds with reverberation.
