Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents a new framework to extract tempos and rhythms from facial expressions. We specifically examine time-series changes of arousal levels obtained from iteration of spontaneous facial expressions. We consider that facial expressions tempos and rhythms are strongly affected by temporal stress with external stimulus in psychological stress. For the evaluation experiment, we created an original facial expressions dataset in three states (normal, comfortable, uncomfortable) of twenty subjects. Subsequently, we demonstrate expressions processes affected by temporal stress for extracting and analyzing facial expressions tempos and rhythms in each subject.
