Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, two types of circularly polarized broadband antennas are presented. One of the antennas has an L-shaped probe with an aperture, which yields an 3-dB axial ratio bandwidth of 40% at maximum. The other one is a patch antenna which is fabricated above an artifitical ground structure with rectangular unit cells. This antenna has a 3-dB axial ratio bandwidth of 30% even though the structure is a low-profile. For both structures, the structures, characteristics and the behavior are discussed.
