Wireless Network System for TV White Space with Coordination of Database

Abstract(in English) Not only sensing by the secondary users but also database is inevitable to determine available channels in TV white space in order to ensure avoidance of interference to the primary users. Especially in case of mobile communications, advanced method to determine available channels according to unstable locations of the secondary users and its radio environment is required. This paper describes about wireless network system composed of database and base stations capable of operating in TV White Space according to available channels provided by the database, to which the mesh network technology is applied. The feasibility of the system has been verified through field operations under properly issued radio license. It is expected to be utilized as an experimental environment of wireless network system in TV white space which integrates radio platform compatible with wireless access specifications in TV white space, such as IEEE802.11 af, 802.15.4m and 802.22, and database that is capable of future coming advanced calculation methods.
