Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | We designed a wave absorber with 2-D infinite periodical patch antennas. With FDTD method including periodic boundary condition, we calculated the impedance at feeding points. For both H- and V-polarized waves, we put two feed points at the squared patch and converted H- and V-polarized waves into symmetry and anti-symmetry mode. As a result, we verified that infinite periodical patch antennas worked as a wave absorber (fractional bandwidth, polarization charactaristic and so on) at a resonant frequency of 2.4 GHz with matched load impedance of pure resistance. |
