A Load-Balanced Routing Scheme Based on Backup Route of IP Fast Reroute

Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a load-balanced routing scheme that uses a backup port of IP fast reroute technique actively. In IP fast reroute, the backup port is used to forward packets to alternative path only when a link failure occurs. However the proposed scheme uses the backup port anytime to avoid network congestion. We confirm that our scheme decreases network congestion ratio 31 % in average.
