Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Conventional SAR-MTI (Synthetic Aperture Radar - Moving Target Indication) methods such as DPCA (Displaced Phase Center Antenna) and ATI (Along Track Interferometry) sometimes suffer from the azimuth ambiguities. In this paper, we first clarify that nuisance phase term introduced in the image registration process prevents the azimuth ambiguities to be sufficiently suppressed in the conventional methods. Then we propose SAR MTI algorithm that simultaneously suppresses azimuth ambiguities by using three along track apertures. The algorithm is tested with airborne SAR images acquired by our airborne Ku-band SAR system.
