Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Studies to establish the disaster-tolerant wireless network based on the de-centralize mesh architecture are undergoing, motivated by the experience of the Great East Japan Earthquake. In the network, the wireless relay network using unmanned aerial systems (UAS) is expected to be one of the anchors to setup the link between the isolated areas in the mountains or the remote islands and the areas survived. This paper discusses the background, outline of the disaster-tolerant network, and the framework of the wireless relay system using UAS.
