Abstract(in English) | To provide attractive and stable information communication services, quality and traffic management technologies play a key role in satisfying a broad range of user demands and operating telecommunication networks efficiently. This article gives an overview of Quality of Experience (QoE) assessment and traffic control technologies. Firstly, we give definitions of terms such as service, quality, QoS, and QoE. Secondly, we introduce the state of the art of international standardization activities for QoE assessment methodologies for communication services. Thirdly, we classify traffic control technologies in terms of traffic volume, sequence, and routing. Finally, we discuss future research directions of traffic control based on QoE assessment. |
