Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In our previous study, it was shown that a stable focus and a stable relaxation oscillation coexist in close proximity in the state space in a four-segment BVP oscillator, and that complex bifurcations such as sudden change from chaos to oscillation death occur under extremely weak periodic perturbation in such a oscillator. In this study, we discover an interesting phenomenon where chaos generating regions is changed by the choice of initial conditions, and we make such the mechanism of the bifurcation structure clear by idealizing the v-i charateristic of nonlinear conductance.
