Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) resonator has been extensively studied. MEMS resonator substantially exhibits bistable and hysteretic response when the nonlinear characteristics appear. Badzey et al. reported that the nonlinear MEMS resonator can be applied to a memory device. Based on their results, we try to demonstrate read and write operations of the memory device. In this paper, the system is read out via a current through capacitor which is proportional to the displacement of MEMS resonator in differential configuration. The writing operation is achieved between two stable vibrations by feedback control.
