Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recent studies of speech mechanism have suggested the existence of a common representation which affects both speech production and perception. It is well known that 'Delayed Auditory Feedback' (DAF) manipulation modulates speech behavior, although most of such speech studies employ tone modulation to feedback of speaker's voice. In the present study, we investigated a common speech representation between speech behavior and perception, by using 'lag adaptation' procedure to DAF in continuous speech. The experiments demonstrated recalibration mechanism which affects both speech production and perception in temporal aspect, suggesting that there may be a common representation shared by both production and perception of speech.
