Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) For capturing high-resolution images of a moving target for improving the quality of its 3D video, we propose a system with zoom-in pan-tilt cameras and their control scheme. In this work, the system captures a dancer wearing kimono, which makes it difficult to analyze the temporally-varying 3D shape, and then assigns each camera to a body part so that (1) a set of images taken by all cameras captures the whole body and (2) the quality of the 3D video is improved. For controlling the system in real time while satisfying those objectives, the target performance is captured in a training stage to acquire the body parts configuration that should be varied for satisfying the objectives. In a real stage, the system compared a shape reconstructed online with those in the training data to retrieve the parts cofiguration. The retrieved data is used to optimize a camera assignment at each target's motion in real time.
