Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Group work by using cards has been an important means for business analysis or idea creation. It is desirable to digitize results of group work with the form of electronic files. However, it is a problem that huge manual labor is required for digitizng them. Then we propose a group work digitization support system which digitizes them automatically by utilizing digital pens and image processing technologies. The system precisely extracts cards from a photograph of group work result which is taken by a digital camera under various lighting environments by analyzing the component tree and precisely compares these extracted card images with strokes obtained from digital pens. Then the system enters texts obtained from digital pens according to these correspondences. It was confirmed that the proposed system can reduce costs for digitizing group work results to 1/5 or less compared with manual transcription.
