Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) People have thought we make decisions only with instinct and reason. But recent studies indicating there are some influences of somatic sense on decision making. We ran experiments to compare rational and intuitive thinking modeled after Wilson's work. Further, we ran experiments to reveal how the physical body (taste sense) affects decision making. And we found the judgement of facial attractivity is not affected by priming with questions to force thinking. Further, we found there is some connection between the taste sense and the decision making processes.
