Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This article demonstrated that people's impression towards a parson using a video communication system affected by the feature whether the system share the positional relationship between users. It is difficult to share the positional relationship when more than three users in a video communication system. Therefore, the users cannot control their conversation with non-linguistic information, such as gestures and gazes. Instead, they compensate by the utterance. We hypothesized that such unnatural communication behaviors reduced the impression towards them, and conducted an experiment to confirm it. The result supported our hypothesis.
