Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) 3D-view general consumer products have increasingly made their way on the market in recent years. One major issue in the evolution of 3D technology has been the large increase in bandwidth and storage requirements as a result of the multiplication of viewpoints and image quality. To address this issue, more efficient coding algorithms are being researched. In this paper, we examine a perceptual characteristic of coding degradation in multi-view 3d displays.
