| 抄録(和) | 対面での会話において,聞き手の態度は,通常は曖昧な非言語情報によって間接的に話者に伝えられる.話者は受信した情報に基づき,聞き手の意向を解釈し,その結果に基づき自らの発話行動を調整する.しかし,曖昧で間接的な情報であるがゆえに,話者がこれを見落としたり,誤った解釈をしたりすることがあり,結果として望ましくない会話状況に陥ることがある.本稿では,話者の発話におけるバラ言語情報を聞き手がリアルタイムに調整可能とすることにより,聞き手の意向を直接的に話者の発話に反映させることができる,新規な対面コミュニケーションメディア"Marionette Voice"を提案する.Marionette Voiceを用いたユーザスタディを実施し,聞き手の意向がどう発話に反映されるか,さらには会話のあり様がどのように変わるかについて検討する. |
| 抄録(英) | In a face-to-face communication, listeners' attitudes are usually transported to a speaker by ambiguous non-verbal information in an indirect manner. The speaker interprets the listeners' inclinations based on the received non-verbal information, and he/she adjusts his/her speech behaviors. However, since the non-verbal information is ambiguous and indirect, the speaker often overlooks it and misunderstands its meaning, which leads the communication to a messy situation. This paper proposes a novel face-to-face communication medium named "Marionette Voice," which allows the listeners directly reflect their inclinations to the speaker's talk by enabling them to control the paralinguistic information of his/her talk in a real-time manner. We conducted user studies using Marionette Voice, and investigate how the listeners' inclinations are reflected to the speaker's talk and how the face-to-face communications are transformed. |
