Development of remote monitoring system and implementation of anti-slip / re-adhesion control for EH500 large electric locomotive model

Abstract(in English) This paper describes "PLC"/"touch panel"joint system, where introduction of "anti-slip"/"re-adhesion" control, which will assist hauling force improvement, and introduction of remote monitoring system, which will assist to visualize the system, are studied. Since 2007, Morita laboratory has continued "two research theme", one of which is"Driving Wheel Load Transfer"problem study, using EH500 large electric locomotive model and the other of which is developing "RAS" functions, using sequence control technology. This paper integrates the past "two research theme". For the driving wheel load transfer problem study, this research contributes to assist the problem by offering the "anti-slip"/"re-adhesion"control system. For the developing of "RAS" functions, this research contributes to offer the EH500 locomotive operating condition, even at the remote station (the remote touch panel), where open-campus visitors can also enjoy the operation observation, and where PLC Ethernet transmission system is applied.
