Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a landmine-visualization system utilizing multiple complex-valued self-organizing maps (CSOMs) with integrating the multimodal information, namely, frequency and spacial domain textural information. In particular, we focus on the use of similarity indices, which we can obtain with a small calculation cost. We demonstrate that the trends in the similarity indices are almost identical with that of the mutual information. Consequently we can integrate multimodal information with a realistically small calculation cost.
