Abstract(in English) | A code clone is a code fragment that is identical or similar to another in a source code. One of the factors that makes software maintenance more difficult is the presence of code clones and many detection methods have been proposed. However, existing methods have a problem that they detect many unnecessary code clones for software maintenance. In this paper, we propose a preprocessing, which folds repeated instructions in source code, for code clone detection. Moreover, we implement a code clone detection tool including the preprocessing, and apply it to open source software systems. |
