Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Boiled eluate of black soybeans (black soybean extract) contains a variety of healthful nutritions. In the present study, we compared fatty acid (FA) composition in triacylglycerol (TAG) in subcutaneous and visceral adipose tissues of high-fat-fed rats (Control group) and high-fat-fed, black soybean extract administered rats (black-soybean group). One of saturated, 2 of monounsaturated and 5 of polyunsaturated FA contents in subcutaneous adipose tissue were significantly lower in black-soybean group than in Control group, while no clear difference was found in FA compositions in visceral fat. The results suggest that black soybean extract may decrease fatty acid contents more in subcutaneous fat TAG than that in visceral fat.
