Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Probabilistic Packet Marking (PPM) is known as better defence solution for Denial of Service (DoS) attack. However, most of rounters in the Internet is not ready for PPM. To deploy new router with PPM function, there are several problems like cost, operation, availability. In this paper, we propose a device for transparent probabilistic packet marking which enables PPM ready for target router without replacing exiting routers or changing configuration. Thus, we implement proposed device on Linux and evaluate it.
