Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Many visually impaired have the desire to exercise. However, they often cannot exercise for reasons that include no time and no facilities available for visually impaired. Based on this background, we developed an exercise support system that the visually impaired can use alone at home, and we began to sale the system as a commercial product. However, the systems are not sold so many, and new problems from practical use side became clear. Therefore, in this study we planned expansion of age-group of the target users in order to sell the systems more. Specifically, we have improved the system for visually impaired of middle aged and elderly that we have not considered as the target users, but have more needs to exercise, which aimed at advancement of usability. In addition, we implemented the competition function that was a long-held demand from the young visually impaired, which aimed at advancement of enjoyability and continuity.
