Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, the quality of life (QOL) among the elderly and among patients with many types of disease has become a major social issue and to address this problem, we focused on the human balance control mechanism by utilizing a fall prevention assessment. Next, because the sole sensory plays a crucial role in balance control, we evaluated the relationship between the sensory function of the sole skin and the risk of falling during daily activities using a custom-developed stimulator.
