Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose a new measurement system using visible light communication and image sensor. Measurement tequnique is essential for efficient building, bridge and tunnel coustruction and maintenance of them. However, conventional measurement method (like GPS) takes worse accuracy indoors, undergrounds and tunnels due to multipass. Recently, visible light communicaion utilizing LED lightning equipment is proposed. In visible light communicaion, we can receive modulated light signal from LED by using sensors (like Photodiode) as receiver. With the VLC technology today, it is possible to estimate user's position inside the building fairly accurately. However, we do not use conventional system for calculating moving car position. Our proposed system can measure exact position of moving vehicle in tunnels by using both visible light communication and Photogrammetry. We show the effectiveness of our proposed method by experimental evaluation.
