Abstract(in English) Optimal resource allocations for multi-user distributed antenna systems (MU-DASs) are necessary to improve spectrum efficiency. A transmission power control to minimize transmission power is investigated. In previous work, distributed transmission power control (DTPC) algorithm for cellular MIMO systems was proposed with uplink-downlink duality assumption. In this paper, the algorithm is used to evaluate a performance DTPC for MU-DASs. Through computer simulations, it is found that the sum of transmission power is decreased because of duality assumption. In addition to this, an advantage of CoMP transmission is shown. However, it is shown that the sum of transmission power is not always minimized without the optimization of clustering methods.
