Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we newly propose a model of fuzzy commitment schemes in which a secret-key can be used. The significance of our model lies in the following two points: First, by using a key with large entropy, the assumption that the entropy of the input data (e.g., biometric data) in fuzzy commitment schemes has to be large can be removed; Secondly, as a special case, our model includes the model of fuzzy commitment schemes in the sense that it is corresponding to our model in which there is no entropy of a key (e.g., a key is constant or it is stolen by the adversary). Therefore, it can be considered that our model is an extended model of fuzzy commitment schemes, and we can expect its various applications.
