Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper considers the synchronization problem in networks of chaotic systems with diffusive delay couplings. We know an estimation method of the full synchronization region concerning the coupling strength and the time-delay for coupled systems with general network structures. The method is based on the eigenvalues of the corresponding graph Laplacian and the synchronization condition can be obtained by scaling the synchronization condition for two mutually coupled systems with respect to the couping strength. In the graph theory, the graph Laplacian of the Cartesian product of two graphs is equal to the Kronecker sum of graph Laplacians corresponding to the original two graphs. Using this property, we propose how to design a network structure such that the network is completely synchronized under the same synchronization condition as a smaller size of network. Unlike conventional approaches to the synchronization problem, this study focuses on the synthesis problem of network synchronization.
