Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, efficient methods are presented to handle the continuation power flow calculation. It is necessary to compute PV or QV curves and evaluate the saddle node bifurcation point of static voltage instability. In recent years, smart grid environment positively introduces renewable energy such as PV systems, wind power generation, etc. so that the variation of nodal voltage magnitudes becomes more significant due to the intermittent generation output. That easily brings about the occurrence of voltage instability. For a set of potential scenarios, network operators need to evaluate the saddle node bifurcation point efficiently. This paper reviews nonlinear-predictor based continuation power flow calculation methods.
