Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is widely known that Power Line telecommunication (PLT) systems may cause harmful interference against radio services. There have been many reports regarding actual interference cases or disturbance mechanisms. Recently the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) approved a Recommendation that provides a guideline on threshold levels in protecting radio services in the HF and VHF bands. Based on these facts we propose a regulatory measure and a measurement method that would be applied to PLT systems in order to avoid harmful interference against radio services in the HF region.
