| 抄録(和) | 近年,動画・アプリケーションといったコンテンツの配信サービスが普及し,その利用ユーザへの迅速なコンテンツ配信が重要な課題となっている.これに対し我々は,ストレージ容量が有限なコンテンツ配信サーバネットワークにおける,配信時伝搬遅延低減を目的とした,コンテンツの単位ファイルサイズ当りの人気度を考慮した複製配置法を,これまでに提案している.一方,大容量コンテンツの配信には,配信時に発生する伝送遅延がユーザのコンテンツ取得所要時間に影響を及ぼすため,迅速な配信の実現には,配信時伝送遅延の考慮が必要である.そこで本研究では,コンテンツ配信時の通信に高信頼伝送制御プロトコルの利用を仮定し,配信サーバ・ユーザ間ラウンドトリップ時間により,配信時伝送速度が制限される場合における,単位ファイルサイズあたりの人気度を考慮した複製配置法が配信時伝送遅延へ及ぼす影響を評価した.その結果,提案方式が,高人気度及び大容量コンテンツの優先複製配置方式に比べ,コンテンツ人気度の偏り及びネットワークトポロジに依らずより高い性能を示し,また,ファイルサイズ分布に偏りが生じる場合においても,提案方式がより有効であることを明らかにした. |
| 抄録(英) | On general content delivery networks, replica allocation is effective in reducing propagation delay when users obtain contents. We proposed a content replication algorithm that considers the popularity per file size of content. On the other hand, delivering large-sized contents causes large transmission delay. Thus, replication algorithms should consider transmission delay to reduce download time for obtaining contents by users. In this paper, we assume that contents are delivered under reliable transmission control protocols. In this case, round trip time dominates content transmission rate between a server that deliver a requested content and a user that requests the content. Under this assumption, the effect of proposed method on transmission delay is evaluated, and proposed method provides better performance than a method that preferentially replicates popular and large-sized contents in large-scale simulation conditions. |
