Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, it is common to handle large files over the world. However, large files make the system to store, share, and access difficult. Content Espresso is an open platform technology to realize large files sharing among the world over the networks securely. The approaches of this technology are the followings; file-basis sharing, distributed management/horizontal specialization, minimum storage, micro restoration, maximized access speed to access lines, and stability along with total storage size. Its technical originalities are separation of file properties and file data, and common forward error correction methodology for storage and transmission. We also showed the impact on networks by Content Espresso traffic and the solution using virtualized network technologies.
