Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, in terms of the transmission speeds and reliabilities, wireless network system is close to wire- line one. Additionally, wireless communications system must provide various multimedia application services such as ubiquitous and customized to individual needs. In these perspectives, it is necessary to realize a seamless interaction among various networks. However, there is primitive agenda, i.e., the required application services are depending on applicable areas or customers. In order to mitigate this drawback, it is necessary to consider the QoS (Quality of Service) differentiation and control. In this paper, we propose a cross-layer designed QoS framework for overall layers. Especially, we focus on the QoS management schemes, and then we construct the protocol stacks among physical, data link, network and transport layers.
