抄録(和)	近年,Android^がスマートフォンやタブレット等のOSとして急速に普及している.Android端末はAndroidアプリにより機能拡張できる.また,Android端末は高度な計算能力やストレージ,通信インタフェースを専用装置と比較し安価に備える.そのため,現在,専用装置で実装される産業機械の制御装置や遠隔医療装置等の一部を置換し,安価に実現することも期待されている.一方,Androidの開発者サイトには多くの不具合報告が寄せられており,Androidアプリの安定稼働が必要となる上記用途への利用は,OSそのものやアプリの不具合により難しい可能性がある.そこで本論文では,市販のAndroidスマートフォンを用いて,Androidアプリの可用率を調査し,調査結果から安定化手法の実現が必要なことを示す.また,調査に基づき,Androidアプリの安定化を目指す手法を提案する.提案手法では,Androidアプリを定期監視し,Androidアプリの応答が無いなどアプリの異常を検知した場合には,アプリの再起動を行うことで,異常からの迅速な復旧を実現する.
抄録(英)	Android OS has spread rapidly for smart phones and tablet devices. The Android devices have a feature that is easily added functions by Android applications. In addition, the Android devices are based on powerful CPUs, they own considerable storage capacities, and large-band communication capabilities. Thus, the Android devices are expected to become the system component for versatile systems such as robot control and telemedicine. Meanwhile, the android issue reporting site currently contains more than 8,300 bug reports. Hence, it is difficult that the android devices used in the above systems because the android devices have the potential to become system failure by the bugs. In this paper, to confirm the necessity to propose the new scheme for dependable android applications, we examine the availability of Android smart phones by fundamental experiment. In addition, we propose a new active restart scheme for dependable android application based on result of examination. In our proposal, we introduce new software that periodically checks normality of Android applications. In addition, if the installed software detects abnormality of Android application, the software restarts the application to recover the abnormality.
