Abstract(in English) | In a substation, an automation and protection system is applied to detect an accident such as electric leak. In such system, networked apparatus monitor the status of current and voltage on the system, while the apparatus perform time synchronization by hardware logic with software assist to guarantee the simultaneity of the monitoring time-points. The apparatus should execute time synchronization every sub-milliseconds for the adequate simultaneity of the monitoring, however, which occupies CPU in the apparatus. Herein, we propose the time synchronization FPGA module with no software assist. |
