Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To avoid becoming a victim of phone fraud, it is important to check whether a caller is a scammer or not. Yamamoto et.al introduced a computer system, called a concierge server, to (semi-)automate this check. If a phone call is made by a caller, the concierge server asks for the caller's information before connection. If information obtained from the caller is not appropriate, the phone call is rejected. In this paper, we formalize a telephone system with a concierge server, and we verify the correctness of the telephone system. We employ a formal specification language based on I/O-automaton theory to describe the telephone system, and we show the telephone system's correctness by trace equivalence.
