Abstract(in English) Devices and applications have been multiplexed in enterprise IT systems because of increasing system availability or scalability. However, failures which impact the whole IT system sometimes occur even if IT systems are multiplexed, because of configuration mistakes or changes of situation after designing the systems. In this paper, we propose a method of root cause analysis for multiplexed systems, which identifies devices or applications causing errors automatically. The method achieves identifying root cause by analyzing correlation between error events on the multiplexed systems using predefined rules.
