Order execution method of element management systems for managing sub-networks

Abstract(in English) Order execution method of Element Management System(EMS) for Optical network is proposed. In a large scale career network, operator manages many kinds of Network Elements(NEs) that constitutes a network such as transport network, access network, optical network by using many kinds of EMS. In order to reduce OPeration EXpense(OPEX) and CAPital EXpense(CAPEX), we study multi layer transport-network EMS architecture called Transport-Management Infrastructure EMS(TMI EMS). In a large scale optical network, EMS manages groups of NEs called sub-network. Because of, EMS needs considering a relationship of NEs of a sub-network depending on network topology such as liner network, ring network. In this paper, we explain the characteristics of an optical network management and operation. And we propose order execution method for TMI EMS that hide difference of specification of vendor NE in sub-network.
