Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, as a countermeasure for serious shortage of radio frequency resources, secondary use of white space (WS) spectrum has been extensively studied. While it benefits efficient spectral utilization, for further improvement it is important to obtain channel state information on the WS spectrum as exactly as possible. In this paper, we propose a blind WS channel estimation scheme and evaluate its fundamental performance. Simulation results reveal that the proposed scheme provides more accurate channel spectrum estimates compared to a conventional scheme.
