Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Many modulation schemes exhibit a peak along the cross-section of the spectral correlation density (SCD) at the carrier frequency, where the cyclic frequency of that peak represents the symbol rate of the received signal. In this paper, a symbol rate estimation technique for various modulated signals is proposed. Window functions are used to improve discrete Fourier transform (DFT) results, and a simple filter is used to amplify peaks across the cyclic frequency domain. The proposed technique can be used together with feature extraction to perform AMC. Simulation results show that the proposed technique can estimate the symbol rate and classify modulations with good performance at SNRs of 4dB and above.
