Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In spectrum sharing systems, secondary systems must operate avoiding interference to primary systems. To avoid the interference, real-time sensing technologies and dynamic spectrum management technologies using database access are required. In order to enhance the spectrum utilization efficiency by detailed utilization of the white space, it is effective to coordinate above the technologies. However, it is also assumed that the real-time sensing put intensive impacts on communication performance because the real-time sensing required suspension of communications between the secondary systems. In this paper, focusing on the regularity of transmission frames in IEEE802.16e as a primary system, we propose a system that integrates a method to detect existence of the primary system using autocorrelation of consequently received primary system's frames. Also, we implement the method as a cognitive radio base station and numerically evaluate the detection probability of the primary system and throughput of the secondary system under various conditions such as sensing time.
