Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have suggested a new network architecture efficiently introducing Cooperative Node Sets that reduce routing processes on IP level. Cooperative Node Set plays a role as a virtual node function on IP level by adaptively leveraging the geographically distributed OXCs(Optical Cross-Connects) that are mutually connected and grouped together. Network topology is reduced in scale by this architecture, which is expected to be simple IP routing and reduce IP level routing table size. In this paper, we propose extended algorithm to create multiple Cooperative Node Sets, and furthermore, dynamic configuration method of IP/photonic layered network by changing Cooperative Node Sets. The effectiveness of the proposed method is evaluated by extensive computer simulation.
