Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A globally-synchronized optical time-slot switching network, which divides the bandwidth of an optical fiber into any sub-wavelength paths, was proposed. In this system, we propose a time-slot assignment algorithm for an asynchronous time-slot phase network which does not need to adjust propagation delays of all links to an integral multiple of a time-slot. Proposed method divides a time-slot into N pieces and uses N times the size of a time-slot for the scheduling. However, an asynchronous time-slot phase network tends to generate useless spaces for time-slot assignment caused by different time phase. Therefore, we propose a time-slot assignment algorithm which can reduce the generation of useless spaces. Moreover, we verified its efficiency through simulations.
